How Northeast Indiana's only free-standing not-for-profit boosted enrollment for their Adult Day Services through Google Ads.
Turnstone is the only not-for-profit organization in Northeast Indiana that offers a complete range of supportive services to address the specific needs of people with disabilities and their families. Since 1943, Turnstone has been serving Allen County, but they have been working to enhance their brand awareness and outreach to the public. Turnstone's Adult Day Services program needed a solution to increase enrollment. With 40 vacancies to fill, it was essential to make a quick start. In the past, Turnstone has relied on a Google Grant account to fill openings in their programs. However, as time went on, they realized that this method was no longer as effective. With the shift towards a pay-to-play environment, we had to develop a strategic plan to ensure that they could maximize their ROI within their budget.
JH immediately initiated a highly targeted digital marketing plan. To maximize advertising spend, we conducted a thorough analysis that involved identifying location-based targeting and conducted extensive keyword research. This allowed us to precisely place ads and reach the target audience effectively. As we created a competitive strategy, we also identified key areas for their development team to set up tracking, ensuring successful campaign conversions. In the Google Grant account, the campaign conversions were too broad. Thus, it was essential to make them more intentional to better communicate the campaign's story and success.
Since forming the partnership, Turnstone has made considerable strides in expanding their market share. Their commitment to improving their online presence has undoubtedly played a pivotal role in their success. By leveraging various digital marketing strategies, such as search engine marketing (SEM), Turnstone has been able to effectively reach and engage with their target audience. As a result, they have established a strong online brand presence and fostered deeper connections within the community.
The JH team demonstrated their understanding of our organization and goals throughout the entire process. Their proposed strategies and technical expertise laid the foundation for a campaign that positively contributed to service goals. Ultimately, the most important intended outcome was to create a waitlist of eligible community members for enrollment in the Adult Day Services program. Since the start of our campaign, our waitlist grew to 32 at one point! We are always looking for new ways to connect with more people who can benefit from Turnstone's Services, and JH has been a great partner in helping us achieve our goals. Their ability to communicate and pivot as needed throughout the campaign also kept us in step with the results and headed in the right direction. Their hand-in-hand approach to project management continues to reassure us that we have placed our online presence with the right partner.
