We're seeking a hands-on, player/coach-style Warehouse & Delivery Manager who thrives in both strategic and tactical roles. This individual will oversee our warehouse operations, manage deliveries and pickups—including those to and from decorators and clients—and step in to execute as needed. At times, this may be a one-person operation, so we're looking for someone who leads by doing, not just directing.

About the Role
The Warehouse & Delivery Manager is responsible for all aspects of our warehouse operations, from inventory control and delivery planning to fulfillment and fleet oversight. This role requires someone who can seamlessly shift from high-level planning to executing tasks on the floor. We value a proactive, “no job is too small” mentality.
Current Fleet & Equipment
- 2 branded delivery vans
- 1 warehouse forklift
- Hand trucks and pallet jacks available on-site
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of experience in a warehouse
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations Oversight
- Manage warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory, fulfillment, and delivery logistics.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates and interns.
- Manage warehouse decorator workflow; oversee and track inbound/outbound shipments to/from decorators.
- Attend promo team meetings to align warehouse priorities with project and client needs.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and functionality for all warehouse equipment.
- Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and safely operated.
- Conduct and oversee semi-annual inventory audits.
Daily Delivery Visibility & Scheduling
- Create a daily tracking system for all inbound shipments from decorators and suppliers.
- Build a proactive schedule for client deliveries and pickups, aligning with inbound activities.
- Assign next steps (e.g., fulfillment, storage, decoration) as packages arrive to streamlinehandoffs.
Standardized Check-In Process
- Implement a daily workflow to check in, verify, and log all inbound orders by a consistent time.
- Assign clear ownership of this process—including intern responsibilities—and cross-train backups.
- Document the process to maintain continuity when short-staffed.
Prioritization of Company Store Orders
- Flag company store orders as high priority through tagging or sorting methods.
- Work with AMs and PMs to define prioritization logic.
- Ensure the prioritization system scales with order volume.
Fulfillment Planning System and Scheduling
- Build a forecasting process for upcoming fulfillment needs.
- Create a daily and weekly labor schedule, allocating tasks across staff and interns.
- Collaborate across teams to guarantee timely order preparation and fulfillment.
Backup & Execution Duties (as needed)
This role requires someone willing to roll up their sleeves when the team is short-staffed:
- Unload trucks and verify incoming inventory.
- Match items to work orders and close purchase orders.
- Pack and prep orders for shipment.
- Move goods to appropriate storage, staging, or delivery zones.
- Personally deliver or ship orders to meet client deadlines.

Time Management: Ability to jump from project to project and prioritize on-the-fly in an autonomous style. This role will be expected to juggle multiple projects at a time and deliver timely results.
Initiative: Makes proactive solution suggestions, driving processes independently and displays first-rate customer follow-up skills through attention to project details.
