JH Specialty was invited to attend this year’s Google Partners Summit in San Francisco. Only the digital agencies that push for innovative solutions, launch exciting campaigns for new clients, and help others grow their business on the web are invited. Around 900 of the brightest minds in digital marketing from all over the world gathered to brainstorm and share ideas on ways to improve the digital experience and ROI for clients. Google picking up the tab was a pretty nice perk as well.
First Class as you would expect from Google
From the time we reached the the Summit location, the Westin St. Francis, we were greeted by friendly faces and five-star surroundings. The first class amenities were shadowed by the top-notch inspirational speakers. We were able to discuss marketing strategies with Yong Su Kim, VP Google Marketing Solutions, Jason Spero, VP of Global Performance & Programmatic, and Lucinda Barlow, Global Director of YouTube, just to name a few.
The breakout sessions were second to none. Marketers could shift between the Product Stage, the Customer Focus Stage, and the Company Culture Stage. The Product Stage was a look into the cutting edge products available only to Google partners and their clients (which included some new innovations that will soon be released.) The Customer Focus Stage was geared toward defining client needs and how to exceed them. The Company Culture Stage shared the Google philosophy and how to nurture talent.
New Product Innovations
Google is always setting the bar higher with their cutting edge services and products. This facilitates innovation, the life-blood, in any successful company. As mobile and video become the future of advertising, the smartest companies are utilizing them correctly, along with Google's digital marketing services, to advance and grow their businesses. The average person checks their phone 50 times a day and 85% of people use their smartphone to research products on the go. Just imagine the advertising opportunities.
Google on the Green
The Summit was wrapped up with the Google on the Green event. The green was loaded with product demonstrations, games, margaritas, and plenty of Google Swag. We were able to try out the latest Google Pixel phone and VR Goggles, and share some innovation ideas of our own. It was a great way to end the festivities.
