The Team

Prior to working at JH, James had a passion for photography editing and pursued that interest through the semi-related studies of an associate's degree in web development at Indiana Tech. Although a hoped-for photography opportunity didn’t work out after college when a potential employer relocated to Texas, he was able to find freelance work using the web skills he had developed. As life progressed, James realized he preferred the stability of working as part of a team rather than being self-employed. While seeking full-time employment, he connected with JH and eventually became a member of their team.

Having worked at JH since 2008, James has witnessed the company’s growth not only in size but also in the strength of its relationships. He values that it’s more than just a workplace, it’s an environment where people are invested in personally as well as professionally. That has been true from his early days as a novice web developer through his current role as a senior web developer. During that time, his family has also grown to include a son and multiple pets. James feels blessed to have been able to work at JH for so many years and looks forward to continuing here for years to come.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, watching movies, and playing games. Whenever he has the opportunity to design and build a piece of furniture or tackle a home DIY project, he appreciates the chance to work with his hands. While his role as a front-end web developer allows him to build and solve problems digitally, creating tangible objects brings an added level of satisfaction to his life.
